After serving as a personal aide to President Barack Obama from 2009-2011, Love earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is currently a Senior Advisor at Apollo Global Management.
The playbook started at Duke
Reggie is a graduate of Duke University, where he captained the basketball team under legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski and won an NCAA title. After college, he had brief stints in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers before moving to Washington, D.C., in 2006 to work for then-Senator Barack Obama. He went on to serve at President Obama’s side for four years, ultimately as Special Assistant to the President, managing his daily schedule across 40+ countries.
Following his White House service, Love earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and authored the New York Times best seller Power Forward: My Presidential Education, a collection of stories and lessons from his time in sports and politics.
Love serves on numerous boards, including Cox Media Group, Strata Critical, the National Summer Learning Association, the Center for Environmental Farming Systems, Organizing for Action, the Military Bowl Committee, Teamworks, and New York Renaissance.
